The Founder
Fil Volant grew out of a desire to spread the love and joy of working with fabric and thread. Our founder - Donna Hensley - was surrounded by handicrafts from her earliest age, be it her mother’s and grandmother’s quilts, or the traditional weaving styles found where she grew up in the American Southwest. Her adventures have brought her to France, where she continues to learn new techniques and share her passion with kindred spirits!
