Flower Power Quilt Block

We’re thrilled to announce a collaboration with Annie’s Craft Store and Quilter’s World for their May Quilt Block Party!  We’ve designed a block for their Block of the Month program and we’re doing a live Facebook video over @AnniesCraftStore. Here’s a link to the event, which takes place this Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, at 12 pm EST (6 pm CET).

The block is 12" x 12" (finished size) and is called “Flower Power” in honor of this beautiful month of May.  It’s assembled using traditional piecing, uses some Half Square Triangles and quite a few Flying Geese. :) You can download it at freepatterns.com and prep your materials if you want to get started already!

During the video, I’ll be giving some pointers for making the block and answering any questions people might have.  “Flower Power” is designed for confident beginners and avoids partial seams, so the assembly process should be pretty straightforward.
